Thomson Directories - in administration, and out again

Seems to have gone under the radar, only know as I know two people who work there and are in the 270 made redundant.
Don't know if any of you have seen their Directory of late, is nothing to what it was ten years ago obviously.
Sad day for all those losing their jobs.

Thomson Directories is understood to have been bought out of administration by a newly formed company called Corporate Media Partners Limited, run by the founders of 118 Information.

Hmm.. That explains the amount of phone calls the missus has had regarding her companies paid advert in the local Thomson. Ie: Thomson wanted her to spend more money on something she has received no business from in the last year.

It also explains why they won't let her cancel her advert (and the payments).

Never nice to see people lose their jobs though.
