Gameshark CDX on DC Question

I have a gameshark CDX disk with which I want to run import JP games on a UK PAL Dreamcast, I specifically hope to run Psyvariar2 on the DC.
I have never used this disk before and was wondering if it would do the job and how well,
How does the Gameshark CDX compare to the DCX for running imported DC games on a pal machine.
Can anyone help please?

Get a DC-X. The CDX runs about 4/5 of imported games but most with borders. The DC-X by comparison will run almost all import games and in 60Hz.

Thanks Gossi thats all I needed to know, and I have been able to order a new DC-X disk from lik sang, so I will be ready for Psyvariar 2

Well you learn something new everyday. I bought the DCX sometime ago without realising how much better it was than other import boot discs!

Its worth noting that there is an alternative solution to get rid of the borders, which is to use the VGA box. In VGA mode you're always at 60Hz, irrespective of region.
