Anyone else picked this up yet ? It just receieved a US release.
I've never played the 8-bit original, but was intrigued enough by an internet write up to actually buy it.
From the limited time I've played of it so far its really quite entertaining.
The graphics, as I understand it, remain very faithfull to the original so its nice in an `updated retro` kind of way ( like Double Dragon ).
Its best described as a customisable RPG / Beat em up with lots of enemies (in a Streets of Rage style) and some nice comedy elements ( including thowing trash cans onto enemies heads and making them run around blindly ). There's also a large number of stats and moves to upgrade as you progress.
Well worth a look into, even if like me you haven't played the original
