A few good shooters.

Now that I've invested in my Saturn, I'm thinking that I've bitten off more than I can chew There are so many games for the system and I don't have a clue where to start. I notice you folks talking about titles such as DoDonPachi and Darius Gaiden (if I can find them), but do you have a couple of suggestions to get me started?

What should I expect to pay, realistically?

Is Cotton Boomerang any good? Found me a copy of this.

i love those, games also i'll give a special mention to the criminally ignored Prikura Daisakusen, this game is in league of its own, a definate must buy. People never mention it, it seems to get ignored by so many, but it is one of the saturns greatest gems, try it you will fall in love with the game

Soukyugurentai Otokuyo which is a update not a sequel (think the previous game had some bugs like corrupt text if using a action replay 4 in 1 and a few others also has a demo of battle garegga i think)

Sell a family member and/or internal organs & buy Radiant Silvergun - good piece written by Kubrick on this very site.

It's a magnificent shooter - complex & difficult, but controls beautifully & plays extremely well.

i believe thunder force gold pack 1 and 2 would be compliations containing thunder force 1 + 2, and 3 + 4 respectively. Although i've never owned them before so i'm not quite sure, but i would expect that is the case.

Yup..except I think it split as 2 and 3, 1 and 4 (iirc)

Because of the way they split the gold packs I really would not bother with one. As it's TF2 + TF3, there very little mention of Thunder Force 1 in either of the packs the second gold pack is TF Arcade + TF4.

As Arcade is 3 with a few different levels and better graphic's I wouldn't get gold pack 1 unless your a die hard fan.
