Hi everyone, I have just found this forum & have been really impressed with it whilst lurking so have decided to join as I am getting back into a bit of retro gaming after a couple of years break.
I have a mint, boxed Super Famicom which I bought from Italian Ebay a couple of years ago (was brand new when bought) but want to get something less special for everyday use.
I use SVHS with my consoles as the 2 RGB scarts on my TV are already in use (sky & dvd) I dont think there is hardly any difference in quality between the two connections really but my questions are,
Is RGB better than SVHS? (official US lead)
Can a US snes mini output to SVHS?
Is ther any one on here who does conversions/repairs? I have an old Super Famicom which looks to have been converted somehow in the past. It has some wires loos inside & lots of extra solder spots as if someone has removed loads of wires too. Is it worth bothering with? It still has power.
Does anyone know of a mint, boxed JAP Megadrive for sale? Must be Jap NTSC, not Asian PAL.
Thanks in advance,
Rob.
