    Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 6

Any fans of CYE lurking here?

Only really started getting into this, but it's definitely my kind of humour. It's almost as if Gervais lifted his whole cringe-making comedy routine from Larry David.

I it. Larry David, asking questions nobody dare ask!

Some of the cringey set pieces in the early series' were amazing.... the repeat of the one were he takes the prossie to the ball game was shown again the other night, bloody brilliant how many interlinking things come back to sting him each time!

My favourite scene ever has to be the swearing scene in the new restaurant he opens as he has sympathy with the turrets chef - genius!

One of my favourites is where he congratulates the dad on the size of his sons penis, comedy gold!

Ah the poker game, with his legendary response when the guy wins. Comedy gold!

Absolutely superb stuff, isn't it? They stand up very well to repeated viewings too, just like Seinfeld. The improvisation and the way its shot just suit it so well and I love how nothing is taboo.

More4 have been showing them from the start of Season 1 onwards (must be on season 4 or 5 by now) and the wife and I are hooked. I had to stop watching one the other night though; it's the one when his friends dad had died and was buried with Larry's golf club instead of his own - it was just to much watching Larry trying to wrestle his 5 wood out of the coffin!! I couldn't have cringed anymore if I was 'Cringer' from He-Man - I will watch the rest soon but that was one of the most terrible things that I have ever seen Mr David do

That one in the restaurant when they are all swearing is priceless as well - such a good show. No episode ever ends how you think it will as there's always so many things waiting to comeback and bite him on the arse. The stuff with Ben Stiller was great too.

Did anyone else see the documentary: 'Ricky Gervais meets Larry David' - good stuff, with a great deal of mutual appreciation going on!

Good to see other people have finally caught on to this programme, its certainly been another slow burner. I guess it doesn't help when you see some of the time slots its been shoved on at.

Larry David is a genius. Easily my fave show and I must have seen the Krayzee Eyez Killa episode about ten times.

I hear they are making a sixth series too. Result!

I love it as well got them all on dvd as id missed loads of TV. Love the one where he's on the phone and someone drives into the back of his car, and they threaten him its one of the funniest things ive ever seen.

It's amazing. First saw it when BBC2 aired a couple of episodes about 3 years back and have since bought all the seasons on DVD. It's just so well-constructed and manages to be 'funny as ****' and coolly amusing simultaneously. The world it's set in is perfect and so are the characters. I like the bit in the 'Porno Gil' episode when the crazy old lady rips up the directions to Gil's house.

It makes Seinfeld seem so ****!

I agree there, Jazz. I've got all the Seinfelds that they've released so far, they're cheap on the internet and they're easy to watch before you go to bed. Curb is just so much better though. Funnier, more engaging, better executed... everything.

Curbs is legend. I just love the simple things Larry says... "Prettay, prettaaay, prettay goood".

This is a great little scene
