    New Job

lolz i cant see myself in that getup!

Also some interesting stuff here on what it might end up doing...stolen post from KI.

We shouldn't base the abilities on Tactics, but earlier-- Final Fantasy V.

    * Tempting Tango - Confuses every enemy. Always works.
    * Jitterbug Duet - Drains HP from the enemy.
    * Mystery Waltz - Drains MP from the enemy.
    * Sword Dance - Attack for four times the damage.

Then from there, we have FF Tactics:

Witch Hunt Dance causes MP damage with a mysterious costume.
Wiznaibus Dance causes HP damage with powerful dance steps.
Slow Dance Dance lowers enemies' Speed level by confusing them with slow dance movements.
Polka Polka Dance with vivacious moves. Lowers physical attack power.
Disillusion Dance lowers enemies' magic attack power by distracting them with a mysterious costume.
Nameless Dance Dance with unexplainable moves. Causes various abnormal status.
Last Dance Ultimate dance. Turns enemies' CT count to 0. 5

And, if you want to bring FF X-2 into the mix, then we have for "Songtress":

Darkness Dance Causes Blind on all of target party while dancing
Samba of Silence Causes Silence on all of target party while dancing
MP Mambo MP cost for party is 0 while dancing
Magical Masque Magic attacks cause no damage to the party while dancing
Sleepy Shuffle Causes Sleep on all of target party while dancing
Carnival Cancan Party's max HP doubles while dancing
Slow Dance Causes Slow on all of target party while dancing
Brakedance Causes Stop on all of target party while dancing
Slow Dance Causes Slow on all of target party while dancing
Jitterbug Causes Haste on party while dancing
Dirty Dancing Party always gets critical hits while dancing

Aid allies by singing and dancing your way to victory. The Songstress is a dressphere in Final Fantasy X-2, available after the first boss battle with Leblanc, which gives a tutorial on spherechanging. It specializes in inflicting status ailments on enemies and buffing the party. The Songstress dressphere serves a key role in the story. For unknown reasons, when Leblanc uses this dressphere in the beginning of the game, it turns her from an exact double of Yuna in her summoner appearance into Yu

Some of these will probably make it into the new job, and some won't. The one thing that'll be brought up is what will be added that's new that would make it stand apart from the previous Final Fantasy series?

Looking above, I already see Haste and Slow dances equivalent to Bard's March and Elegy. But, they also get enfeebling-type dances as well.

OMG, I can so see myself in the Lycra AF - Who needs the Hume Gillet?

And to me, those abilities would be overpowered in the game - but after what SE have done to SAM and a certain unbalanced megapower that has a duration longer than the reuse timer there's still every chance they'll be in.

      Sounds like Bard to me.

"MP Mambo MP cost for party is 0 while dancing"

That has to be a 2hr. AoE Manafont ftwtf.

hmm... not sure how effective these MP drain abilities will be without being able to see the mob MP bar.
