The classic controller is well worth the money - I'm not a big VC shopper, but it improved the experience of old games immeasurably.
Mercury is also a good game, said to be better on Wii, though I've not played the other versions... incidentally it supports the classic controller, but god know why you'd want to use it when you've got the remote! It was ?9.99 yesterday but seems to have gone up a pound and is currently out of stock.
