I fought The Law and The Law won ..

What the **** is the point in bootcut jeans/pants? And why is it most of the shops seem to have them now at the expense of the regular variety?

Who on earth wants to look like they're wearing half-masts?

the answer to all of the above questions is thus:

'fashion'. which we all know is another way of saying "let's all pay silly money for clothes which make us look silly" also, related to daft loobrush haircuts with random dyed bits courtesy of toni and guy and it's kin.

i like my jeans to pretty much cover my kicks, so when i sit down the hem isn't floating around my kneecaps. i also find 'bootcut' jeans to be far too small to contain my genitals, not saying i'm huge but i have no idea how some people can wear these comfortably.

I like carpenter jeans or the like. I can't wear most normal cut jeans because my thighs are big and I also hate crushed privates( Yes! I am a non practicing porn-star )

I have often bought American import jeans, Tommy Hilfiger U.S stuff is much more comfy- whereas the Tommy UK stuff is all tight and stupid looking. Don't mention Top Man ( ouch )

I bought a pair of boot-cuts once- they get tighter from the bottom-up( Ouch! )

Tight Fitted Jeans are for women!

for the past year I have been buying all my jeans either from the US or Japan (been picking up some nice designs from Japan - not seen around these parts anyway), for some reason i find the fit a lot comfier, and the Japanese jeans are made from a denim which feels softer (weird i know but it does)

There was a Japanese clothes shop (can't remember the name) in Solihull's Touchwood centre a couple of years ago, great place i could buy trousers that didn't need turning up. Pity it closed.

*is currently wearing a pair of 'road' jeans which are supersoft, super comfy fit and cost less than ?20*

if you know where to look, it's all good.

                        What's everyone doing?

It's another beautiful day What's everyone doing?

I'm off on a lengthy cycle ride shortly. There's a nice riverside park half way round the route where I plan on stopping off, havng a beer, and probably playing some Advance Wars DS.

Today I will probably be jammed into my attic (which no doubt will be boiling hot), trying to change the washer on the cold water tank

Anyone got any tips on how to do this (without flooding the whole street) ?

Tidy the house, walk the dog, watch the GP then work like a bastard planning work for school. As usual I have left everything to the last minute and have tons to do.

My days here are sadly numbered. As of Wednesday, the IT manager plans to use new web filtering which blocks lots of sites, this one included.

Nice knowing you all, I guess.
