I really ****ing hate multiple choice components in exams. I'm fine writing essays for 3 hours, but as soon as you get to the MCQ bit, I always fall apart. They always word 3 of the questions extremely similarly, or ask "what do you think" questions.

When I see similar answers, I doubt my revision, panic, and then doubless put the tick in the wrong box.

Bah. I'm at uni. Give me essays, not ticky boxes!

What's more tragic is the fact that they're 17 and 20 years old - hardly kids.

I saw a bloke on the news the other night who could light a fluorescent tube with his bare hands. Can't remember how he did it - think it was charged up static electricity or something.

I've been ill in bed with the flu for the last 6 days. This is my first day back in the land of the living. Six days of a nasty fever, aching limbs, headaches made worse by sunlight (or any kind of light for that matter), a heavy cold and a cough that felt as though my throat was on fire. Lovely.

Thta reminds me of when I went on a tour of a rum factory in Cuba. Some unfortunate individual had to taste a shot of every 7th bottle of rum that was manufactured. He rather unsurprisingly couldn't stand up.
