PAL PS1 - Faux-3D not quite 2D games and the like

So, while I trim down my PS1 collection, I'm also looking to expand into the games I actually want. I especially love the early stuff or 2D style games that came later. For example:
In The Hunt, Rapid Reload, Jumpingflash! (1and 2), JOhnny Bazookatone, Viewpoint, Spider, Spot Goes to Hollywood, Cheesy, Super Pang Collection, Gex, Firo and Klawd, Earthworm Jim 2, Raiden Project, Project Overkill, Megaman 8, Megaman X3, Bubble Bobble, Namco Museum (1-5) and of course the majestic PARODIUS.

But what else is worth it? I'm keen to get Hebereke's Popoitto but what else is fun and of that ilk?

    Smash Court Tennis
    NBA Jam: TE

Common-as-muck games that should only cost a quid from Gamestation.

Do you mean 2.5D games (3D graphics played on a 2D plane) or sprites in a 3D world?

for 2.5D check out pandemonium which is a great, simple old skool platformer.

Seconded, great little platformer. The PS2 Klonoa game is great too, one of my favourite platformers on the system.

No diss to my mans Butane Bob - but that list is crap, holmes. I just had a quick glance and some of the omissions are shocking. Even more shocking than the anal nerdiness of this post!

Where are Gunners Heaven, Harmful Park, Real Bout FF, Captain Commando, Tenchi Wu Kurau, Qix Neo/Volfied?

Plus there are a lot of 3D games in there for a 2D list.

Gundam Battle Assault 2 is kinda 2.5D
Story mode of Deathscythe Hell Custom. Played on Hard difficulty. Not my best character to play with, but fun to use because of the weird properties of the s...

Strangely the US/UK releases has all characters in, but the Japanese one was split into two budget simple series releases (Gundam G and Gundam Wing), seems like the US version has character portraits popping up when you do supers as well. Not sure what other differences there are, have only played the Gundam G one.

Noticed cheesy in the OP. Saw a copy of this at the boot last weekend. Is it worth picking up? Not heard of it before.
