Does anyone know if Plok! ever came out in Japan for the Super Famicom?

Can't find any images of the boxart on Google, but the game is mentioned in Wikipedia's list of released Super Famicom games.

Yes it did. Try ebay, as I've seen sellers like Yamatoku list it a few times.

I only ever seem to see loose cassette ones. I find trying to collect a complete one quite difficult.

I owned a boxed copy a while back but seeing how the original artwork was redone (the worst sort of cutesy look possible which doesn't suit Plok, I hated it) I got rid of it fairly quickly. There's also an added screen with text when you start a new level or life in the SFC version, breaks things up slightly. In fact all the new text in the game is done with a ugly font which is at odds with the otherwise great presentation.

One of my all time fave games but the Japanese version is only for the SFC completist.
