    Burnout Legends DS

Since im sure noone else in their right mind would get this game, and my copy just arrived today, ill start a thread.
Presentation is good ( besides the music, but its EA after all ).
The game layout and progress is alot like Burnout 3.
Graphics are great in my opinon, nice details and it all chugs along at a decent pace, no severe slowdowns so far.
However, they completely messed up the controls and physics, basicly rendering the game unenjoyable ( not unplayable ).
The best way to win a race is to press R all the time, try to follow the road decently with the dpad, and not crash into walls, and to crash into walls you have to go head on with them.
Crashing into traffic is a whole different thing, you can nudge them and crash, or nudge them and not crash, or go quite a bit beside them and crash, it really feels rather random.
Also, the crash MODE is a joke.
There are no cars! To get the gold score you have to hit two cars and catch one of the cash bonuses ...

So, if anyone didnt already know, its pretty rubbish, ill probably not play it anymore after i finish it 100% and unlock everything.

Oh and comparing it to Asphalt urban gt DS that i just finished 100%, is NOT favourable to Burnout.
The later half of Asphalt is great, the tracks are great, the cars control a bit like the cars in Burnout 1/2 really, and the physics are decent.
I dont want to get into reviewing that game now, but i just feel sad that they couldnt just have implemented a similar control and physics engine into Burnout and made it a really really good game.
I think my point is that its not the DS's fault that Burnout sucks, it really isnt. =P
Working...
