After being a fan of the SteamWorld series of games, as they always seem to be able to cross genres with this Universe and still manage to keep the theme and feel of the games, I thought I'd give the latest Build a go, and this is no different.
Build is a city builder and mining game, played from a third-person perspective. You build up the town by bringing in different levels of workers, which you can upgrade to higher-tier citizens if you keep their needs met.
To meet these needs, you have to build facilities, and for this you need materials. At first, this can be met by cutting down the trees and making wood planks, but soon you will need to go underground and mine for iron, scrap parts, tools, gold gems, and other stuff, while avoiding collapsing mineshafts.
It's really well implemented, I ended up playing this post-stream for several hours. It's on Game Pass at the moment, and definitely worth a look.
