Lumines II arrived from Tronix this morning, and I am a bit underwhelmed so far. Menus are virtually identical to Lumines Live, although unlike Lumines Live there is no need to pay to enter each of the different modes! 
Just played a bit of challenge mode so far, and seen very few new skins - virtually all so far have been the same as those in Live, including the Lumines I skins that were remixed for Live. There were possibly a couple of new ones, but the only really obvious additions were the music vids, of which I have seen the Black Eyed Peas and some dodgy skate pop metal (Hoobastank maybe?). Not convinced that the vids bring much to the game, but they don't necessarily detract either.
So far, so ho hum - here's hoping that the more you play, the more new (and I mean new) skins you get. Still, at heart it is Lumines so its still mega addictive to play, and it is definately harder than Live which has got to be a good thing.
