For those of you who don't know about this Desert Combat is free, yep free add on which converts the original WW2 game into the present with mig 29's Harriers, Hind, appache and blackhawk choppers.
Then there is the obvious ground assault vehicles Humvess scud launchers the list is endless. You have a selection of soldiers you can choose from sniper to heavy armour , assault , medic special forces all with their own attributes and weapons.
think of online war and there it is if you can see it you can drive it fly it hover it bail out of it or be the gunner in what ever it is your driving.
the game relies on teamwork and the interface is simple yet effective if you see an enemy tank a quick selection of the f keys is available with requests, what you have spotted or just reinforcements.
the game is so deep and every time you play online with 32 other soldiers you really do feel like you are immersed in modern day combat.
I have not stopped playing this and seeing is believing
