I think, back in the day, Colin McRae 4 allowed you to race a season with a friend, either in the same team, or different teams. Great fun, and a nice blend of challenge and support for the co-op teammate.
I was looking around for a "next-gen" (Wii/360/PS3/PC) equivalent and nothing obvious is springing to mind. I wonder if anyone here knows of anything? Basically a driving game that either split-screen, or one at a time, you can play through a persistent career, or season of events.
I did wonder about the PS3 F1 game - does that support a co-op career? I did own it at one point, but since traded it, and I can't remember. Is there any game I might have missed? Are there any upcoming games with this feature?
