Can't access my live content offline :(

Anyone know what's up? I know live is down for maintenance, but it should also be possible to use paid for content offline.

My pack-imp is missing from Sacred 2, I'm using the same console it was bought on and my gamertag is signed in.

Really, this isn't on - PSN users don't need to worry about being connected to the net in order to use content they've paid for.

I've never had any problem accessing DLC offline if I'm using the same console I downloaded it on (and I've downloaded loads of stuff). Don't know why you're having an issue with the Sacred 2 DLC.

Apparently, this particular piece of DLC won't work unless you're connected to live

Is that likely down to Microsoft or the developers?

        Sounds like a developer thing.

I get that with a few of the XBLA games

Welcome to the world of Microsoft's 360 DRM

When you download license related content, two licenses are issued: one to the console ID where it was downloaded, which allows anybody on this console to use the content, and one to the Gamertag that downloaded it, which allows this Gamertag to use the content on any console so long as it's signed into Live.

If you have changed your console and haven't used Microsoft's License Transfer Tool to move the licenses to the new console ID, then the only way to access the content is to be signed into Live. The transfer tool only allows you to move licenses once in a 12 month period.

But I know all that BS, my point is that while I still use the console that the DLC was downloaded onto, the pack-imp in question was missing from my game during live's downtime yesterday.

On a related note, has anybody's xbox live purchase history been reset?
For example I have downloaded the Pitt for Fallout 3 and this appears in my download history, but it says 800 points rather than having the "tick" next to it saying that it has been purchased...

I've read on a couple of sites that quite a few people are having problems at the moment but Microsoft are dealing with it.

Unless there's something I'm missing, that's out of line Jamie. Clearly ªL©w°ê didn't know if there was a problem and JP showed there is a problem.

What's wrong with JP's post . It's good to know MS have acknowledged the problem and dealing with it, even if we don't have details of an exact fix.

Obviously it appears to have been fixed now, but we didn't know that at the time.
