I couldn't find a thread on this. I've nearly finished the Champions Road - 4 regions, 3 mini-leagues in each, and I've just realised that I haven't lost a single game - I'm thrashing teams in the "hardest" stages. In edit: I've now unlocked the Euro Club Cup. First match - thrashed Man City 3-0.
Now I've gamed a fair bit over the years, but probably not anywhere as near as much as 95% of you, so I don't consider myself a gifted gamer although I do have a long history with football games (Match Day...).
My feelings are bittersweet towards because I really like the controls, but with such little challenge, it's actually a chore - I'm not enjoying it at all.
Has anyone else played this and what do you think? Is it that all Wii games are dumbed down and ****, and the Wii Pro Evo is no exception? Am I a better player than I think? Do all football games get like this in single-player mode? Is 2009 any different?
