    Mario Golf VC - Entering tournament codes?

    Hiya,
    Loving myself some Mario Golf on the VC but can't seem to get to the password entry screen to try out the 3 extra tournament courses.
    The code on the N64 is to select Clubhouse and press A+R+Z but I don't know if it's a button mapping issue or it's been disabled, I can't do it.
    Anyone got any tips?
