Ladies (and gents lol) prepare your bodies, Tingle is coming you know you can't resist.
Zelda and point & click adventure doesn't appear often together in the same sentence but at one time they used to. Back in 2009 after the quirky first entry in the series Nintendo decided to create yet another weird and funny adventure for Tingle and that was Tingle's colour changing balloon trip of love. Yes and those are sparkly hologram hearts on the cover.

35 years old, no job, no money and of course no girlfriend. The games opening dialogue doesn't hold back on the Tingle abuse lol but thanks to the Zelda equivalent of QVC he can get away from the humdrum life and buy the colouring hero's, hero love trip. A book full of thrills spills and romance where the hero always gets the girl and as luck would have it they are selling it reduced from 4800 rupees to just the bargain price of 2 rupees, who could resist. However the book is not all it seems as Tingle finds out when he's pulled inside and is forced to live through the adventure on the pages. And that's where the fun starts, the world that he lands in is both weird and funny he ends up in a bizarre retelling of the wizard of oz with a messed up Zelda world/Tingle twist. The graphics are fantastic they are detailed and full of humour, they have a very comic book look to them just like the first game did, lots of huge close ups and weird cutscenes. It's Tingle packed with fun, hard to describe it well so instead watch the video, i completed the first 2 pages of the book for your viewing pleasure.
As for language barrier, it's pretty high and one point in the game you have to do a quiz and write the answer back in Japanese. However there are thankfully walkthroughs online and video walkthroughs on youtube so it's playable with effort. Personally i think it's worth the effort involved as it's a unique experience and my second favourite Zelda game after wind waker, yeah technically it's a spinoff but i don't care.
