Wish I'd bought Prime Trilogy when I had the chance on the Wii. Ebay gougers are beyond the pale.

I'm going to do a longplay of the entire trilogy, as well as F-Zero GX and Perfect Dark. A semi-sad state where I have to replay existing wares to try and ease the pain of a complete disregard by the owning company.
Let's face it, I've got f-all else to play until Xenoblade. I'm almost put off of buying any more games...Comment

Bit of an interesting statement. On the one hand its some what reassuring to know that a full on Metroid will appear at some point. But is he saying that no work of any kind has yet started on any Metroid game and that its going to take years? Interesting point made on GAF. The indicator that WiiU is out of the question as they view making a new Metroid as being an expensive, large scale resource heavy HD project better suited to NX seems to pretty much confirm NX is a console right?

The bizarrest thing in that interview, during which I suspect he might've been pissed, is the strange admission that he couldn't get team and resources for it. Also, the implication Nintendo didn't understand the resource implications of developing for their 'HD' console. WTF is going on at Ninty HQ?!Comment

You're just trolling now. Wii U was a great console, Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon were proof of that. Nintendo's decisions were the problem. Branding it "Wii U" so your average non-core gamer was confused? Losing their place in the mind of Wii owners by leaving that console with 4 releases in it's last 2+ years? Which is a sorry situation really since I love my Wii U but the 3DS is the single worst console I've ever used so that's no replacement and I don't really think I'll bother with a PS4 or XB1 either since I can't muster interest in those machines. Street Fighter V (assuming Yooka Laylee sees the light of day on Wii U) is the only PS4 game I truly want whereas Wii U had at least 6 games I truly wanted.
