OK, the title isn't particularly good or memorable, but it tells exactly what this game is: 2D sidescroller action with robots. The Kickstarter for the game is 2 or even 3 years old, and I did back it when it was only for PC.
Today the developers announced partnership with Arc System Works to bring Hardcore Mecha to the PS4 in asian countries. In a Kickstarter update developers said they are working through the qualification process for a western console release.
There have already been two Kickstarter-only alpha builds for the multiplayer component, no one has played the single player yet. As for the multiplayer it was good, but developers asked not to talk or share videos about it.
Release is scheduled for this summer, butnot final date has been released.
