Breakdown - Xbox - finding it very very weird, unarmed combat sections remind me of that unlockable first person mode on tekken 2 (surprisingly also by Namco
) whilst armed combat sections are so-so with the use of auto-lock plus switching enemies simply by pressing A. graphics are another mixed bag, some nice animations and visual touches but then you have the same corridors over and over. another thing - people who might suffer from motion sickness really need to think hard about trying this game, i suffer from the occassional motion sickness (last game to make me feel ill was the conveyor section on crimson seas) but the camera wobble made me feel rough after the first 30 mins play - though this soon passed
Baldurs Gate 2 - Xbox - new characters and a whole ream of new dungeons but more or less the same as the first one (not a bad thing) - my Dark Elf Monk is now kicking some ass but the lack of an online mode is a severe oversight ...... playing this more as a time waster till champions of norath is released
Rainbow Six 3 - Xbox - still playing it on Live, quite possibly the best Live game yet released. also started playing through the single player mode on Elite - turning into quite a challenge
Bujingai - PS2 - hack and slash at its best - without a doubt the highlight of the ps2 library for the past 6 months. anyone with even a passing interest in the genre really needs to check this one
Tiger Woods 2k4 - Xbox - is this the best 'single console' multiplayer game available on xbox? i think so ...... currently statting up ready for another 54 hole challenge (getting my player looking good with some serious bling-bling
). what i find especially good about this game is the face mapping that EA has implemented, take a bit of time and you can feature in this game (if you gets me) -- why EA are still holding out against Xbox Live is sad, this game would be the ultimate online golf game around
