I am thinking of purchasing an XRGB-2 Plus, but I read that it only officially supports CRT monitors, not LCD. I have a wide-screen LCD Apple Cinema Display which supports up to 1920x1200 resolution (which also has to be converted from VGA to ADC; will this reduce picture quality?) My question is, do I only get 480x (or 640x, whatever resolution my Japanese PS2 outputs) resolution on my screen, meaning 3/4 of my screen will show nothing? Can I somehow scale the output to 2x or 3x so that I can view the output on (more or less) the entire screen?
Also, for those of you who use an XRGB-2 Plus with an LCD monitor, and know the picture quality difference compared to a CRT, is it remarkable or will you only see the difference if you look for it?
Thanks for your inputs.
