I'm unclear on the situation, so would be grateful if someone could help me out. Do gameboy advance cartridges contain battery-back up or EEPROM's? And what about Nintendo DS games? I'm thinking of getting a DS and 1-2 GBA games, but I am not exactly dying for the gba titles, and would especially be put off if the saves are supported by a battery, since I know the damn things can die out pretty quickly (3-5 years). I'd much rather have EEPROM saves, as as far as I can remember, they can handle up till about 100,000 writes to the data until all saved data becomes lost. Anyone know what the deal is?
