Firstly, if anyone can help i would be extremely grateful.
I'll try and get to the point but i will explain the problem and the steps i have already taken.
I have had aol issues before, which led to me installing aol 9 on my computer, the problem was then the PC didn't have enough memory, it was a 64mb memory load and 100% full, so i have just had the computers memory upgraded to 128mb and it is about half full now.
Problem! ok, get the computer home, its just been reformatted and had the memory upgrade, i install the broadband package again, modem drivers and aol 9 software, restart computer, and when i click aol 9 it gets the starting aol but it wont get the sign on page, the computer rejects it
I try this several times, including rebooting my computer, and still get the same, it asks me to restart, cancel, or details, when using restart it just does the same thing, cancel=cancel and details says "unable to determine cause of shutdown (or words to that affect)
So, i try and unistall aol and reinstalling, same thing, wont get to sign on page, i try this several times, same thing.
I then phone aol, we do a few things, quick restore, reinstall aol adaptor, same thing, she says to get on-line (internet explorer via dial up from tool bar) and download spyware programs.
I get on-line, i download what i used to have, ad-aware, spybot and the already installed from aol installation spyware, i run all 3 seperately, it finds stuff, i delete e.t.c. reboot, *sigh* same thing.
I just restarted my computer, one last try before i come here and get same thing, trys to start, trys to open sign on page then it rejects it and i get the error thing.
