Sorry if this has been done to death before, searching for 'square' is kinda hard. I've looked but this question doesn't seem to have been raised.
I just bought the Hori Arcade Stick and while it's awesome, the stick itself is set in a square base.
Is this a good setup? Cause at the moment I'm finding it quite hard to pull off D/DF/F attacks (HADOKEN).
I'm just wondering if I should have maybe been looking for an octagonal base instead. Or is it what the high level players use and something that you just get used to? It's been a while since I been to arcades, but I'm sure there used to be octagonal bases. I'm pretty sure that a circular base in a no-no, but I'm not sure what the preference of the remaining options is.
Also, Taito Arcade Legends 1 doesn't support the controller. WTF is up with that? One of the games that I was really looking forward to playing with the stick is The New Zealand Story.
