Not sure if this is the correct thread but -
If I want to connect my LCD which only has a DVI-D ( HDCP ) connector to a HDMI port on a Sky HD box what do I need ?
A Convertor ? Some Audio leads as I understand DVI does not contain the audio connections ?
My DVI is a dual socket which I believe means it has more pins, three rows of six instead of two. Can I still use a the type of cable which has the two rows of six, as I need a male connector at the DVI end to plug into my LCD I assume it will just not use the mising pins ?
Does the above even make sense ?
Thanks
