    PS3: PCM 5.1 soundtrack to DD or DTS?

    Can the PS3 convert uncompressed 5.1 PCM tracks to Dolby Digital or DTS? Sopranos Season 6 BR only has 5.1 PCM and even though I have tried fidling with the settings all I can get through optical is 2 channel PCM.
