I have an NTSC WII with the homebrew chan installed. My parents bought Animal Crossing City Folk for my son, but not knowing our console was an NTSC one (even though they are gamers themselves! they choose the game on their own as they love the series) they bought a copy from a PAL store, now waiting to be unwrapped this Christmas.
Does anybody know if we can play with a PAL copy of Animal Crossing on our NTSC WII using the homebrew and Gecko OS like we do with other import games? I heard there might be some issues caused by WiiSpeak functionality, even though this version is without the Wii Speak. Any info to help me determine if this will work without me unwrapping it (it's my son's gift, after all) will be very much appreciated... I think we will enjoy the game during Christmas!
