Strange problem this. When it's turned on, if I move the RF cable at all it turns the Megadrive off. Unless the cable it sitting in a specific position the console won't turn on at all. I check for loose or dirty connections and can't find anything.
I have an RGB scart cable arriving soon and I hope it's just the ****ty rf cable that's the problem, not the console. I don't understand how a video cable can turn the console off though. Could it be a shorting issue?
