My PS3 Slims' HDMI port has always been abit ropey, but not it appears to be dead. Sometimes it went when swtiching between 1080p and 720p depending on the game, and often it flicked back on. Sometimes a small adjustment of the cable and it came back. Normally I left my console as is.
Yesterday however I moved my set around. and now I cant seem to get it working anymore. Is there a known problem with the HDMI port in the early Slim models? Is there an easy fix, or does anyone know someone who could replace it for me without calling Sony?
