How is this any better than the Switch MD collection?

Their track record with this kind of thing is very poor. M2 is a great sign but I remain a little sceptical about how the hardware will be. But yeah, I really hope it’s good because this could be a great little trip down memory lane.

40 games is pretty decent too. I just hope the full list is good. I also hope the system is to scale with the SNES Mini.

Oh, sorry lol. Gematsu made it into two separate articles which led me to think that the EU/NA list was announced much later

JPN one obviously has SFII, where the western ones do not. 6B controllers etc.

    I hope it's hackable.

I remember buying it cheap at a computer fair in 1991 and not knowing anything about it.
The box art really grabbed me.

Turned out to be a great game that I've always enjoyed going back to. A hidden gem sort of game.

M2 involved with the software on this is excellent, but has it actually been confirmed that ATGames aren’t doing the hardware?

If they are, it’s still a hell no for me.

Well so far that first portion of the Japanese selection isn’t too bad but I’m hoping it will be hackable as I want all the wonderboy games on there and magical flying hat as that’s my most loved md game out of everything.

Looks like Sega are taking this seriously. Maybe something to do with the huge sales of the Nintendo minis? I wonder if the guts of the SG will fit inside the Mega Drive mini shell?

The design of the console looks really good, so if it turns out to be a decent piece of kit, I'll try to grab a Japanese version. Fingers crossed.
