Critics Club V: Remaining Fifth Generation

I've skipped an obvious system but that's because from this point onward the job of putting these threads together becomes much more difficult as the number of released variations increases so I'm buying time for the next one. This time we look at the remaining also-ran systems that released during the heyday of the 32-bit era.

Which of the below systems was the best looking design?

    FM Towns Marty

    FM Towns Marty 2

    PC-FX

    Apple Bandai Pippin

    Playdia

    Casio Loopy

To me, PC-FX looks the best and sadly doesn’t have the worst library of the consoles listed

The PC-FX by a country mile. It looks gawjuss, it’s just a shame it never received some of the 2D powerhouse games that were appearing on the likes of the Saturn back then. Could’ve been a cult classic like the PCE before it, lack of 3D hardware notwithstanding.

I still do not get the PC-FX; feels so inspired by PC cases of the time, and it just seems so big and bulky compared to every other PCE system - and for what?

Marty 2 on the other hand, phwoar.
