CCIV: Game of the Year 1995 - Round Five

We begin to hit the halfway point in 1995. So far it hasn't been the most popular of line ups despite falling around the time of peak 16 bit/dawn of 32-bit era gaming. Can this round begin a path of redemption?

Do any of the above games represent some of the best of 1995?

      Only KoF95. Although isn't 95 the one that's a bit broken?

Light Crusader is great, particularly for the unusual design choice of letting you shove all the characters around the play area by walking into them. You can even stack them on top of each other if there's a ledge. Despite the fairly generic fantasy setting, it all goes completely crackers later in the game - you end up time travelling into WW2 and the Wild West. It's absolutely nuts, great game. Slightly overlooked considering Treasure did it too.

I always thought they didn’t really get into their stride until 96.

Not much for me in there.
I voted for Mickey Mouse, but it's the Game Gear's Legend, rather than the Mega Drive's Castle of Illusion, so unvoted!

Journeyman 2, loved those mixed FMV adventure games and this is one of the best from that era like the later Zork ones

Quite a few early PS1 shovelware on that list, for as much as i played Loaded, it's not a great game, andi remember little of Kileak. But Jumping Flash sticks with me till this day so that gets my vote.
