Voted for Advance Wars and Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura.

Advance Wars is a easy pick, I played the game until the final mission but never finished the game, my cartridge still has the unfinished save data.

Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura on the other hand is not a easy pick for vote, but I like the game for what it is, a flawed and overabitious western crpg. Made by some of the people who worked on the first 2 Fallout games who then left Black Isle Studios and started Troika Games. The game was very buggy when it was released (as were all the games Troika developed), and really the best way to play the game these days is to have fan made pathes on it. The combat can be played with turn based or real time, and turn based is super slow and tedious and the real time combat is not very good either. Getting into the game takes a long time, and the first town is a massive exercise in frustration the first time you get there, but once you get into the game it's a well written world with a lot of content and a lot of freedom on how to move forward in the story. Among the best crpg's that I have played, but also massively flawed and overwhelming at the same time.

Amped was a great snowboarding game ... made even better with the custom soundtrack option

Hundreds of hours spent playing early those early PS2 IIDX games, but 6th was the one that was most responsible for getting me into the series. That slick new UI, huge number of tracks, and even tatsujin clips to unlock in the game! Top-tier Bemani release.

Had to check which animal crossing it is, seems the JP releases of the n64 and gamecube game all happened in 2001, however i wouldn't play it till its NA release which i imported Christmas 02.

Personal tastes, still enjoy Alien Front Online (offline) with Beach Spikers a close second, so underrated.

Will concede OG Advance Wars was superb. But still play the other two above.

Yeah, 6th Style was great … I remember buying one of the nice big Konamistyle controllers for it.

I played Armoured Core 2 a lot. I pretty much built every combination of robot possible and unlocked everything.

Easy for me. Advance Wars first, the rest nowhere. That said, I've never heard of Batman: Gotham City Racers. I'm intrigued enough to check it out. Probably in for a huge disappointment.

Shout-out for Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. Absolutely LOVED that game, and the sequel.

It's a shame they announced a third one a while back, but then said it wasn't going to have same-screen multiplayer. I've no idea what they were thinking.
