The original source isn't the best but reportedly Chris McQuarrie is working on a remake of Clint Eastwoods movie The Gauntlet which will see Tom Cruise take over the role of a disgruntled cop who is escorting a mob witness prostitute who is being targetted, Scarlett Johannson would take the latter role.

Oh yes, I heard about this.

I've not seen it, but heard it's a fun OTT actioner, but seems like a better option for a remake as it's not a film many are precious about.

Cruise is pretty good with action films, I reckon.
