    Jay and Silent Bob Reboot

Filmmaker Kevin Smith has confirmed that the upcoming “Jay and Silent Bob Reboot” film is scheduled to begin shooting in November. The film sees the titular duo (played by Jason Mewes and Smith) learning that “Bluntman and Chronic,” the film made about them in “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back,” is set to be rebooted. […]

Starts filming in November, despite the title it's not a reboot and is in fact a sequel to Strikes Back in which Jay and Silent Bob undergo a similar adventure having learnt that Hollywood plans to reboot The Bluntman and Chronic Movie

Saban Films has acquired the North American rights to Kevin Smith’s upcoming “Jay and Silent Bob” reboot which is currently in production. Saban has reportedly committed to a substantial theatrical release. Jason Mewes and Smith are reprising their leading roles as the stoner icons in a film that plans to make fun of reboots and […]

Saban Films has picked this up and for some weird reason apparently plans to give it a fair push

Does anybody still care about Kevin Smith?

        That's a good question.

Also, Saban as in Power Rangers?
That would be an interesting crossover!

Not any more, if I recall - I think they sold the property.

I don't even know how he'll approach this, J&SB couldn't be more dated at this point

After the disappointment of Clerks and Mallrats sequels falling through, I refuse to believe this will exist until it is in the local cinema. Or, more likely, on amazon Prime!

Well part of the joke of the original was that they were already painfully dated and unaware of current events and pop culture. He could just double down on that joke I suppose.

I reckon this sounds so craply dated and past-its-time and old and haggard, now, it might actually be refreshing.

As long as it's better than Zack and Miri Make a Porno.

I actually think it's too soon, but only 3-4 years too soon. The 90s throwback is really gearing up.

Something that always irks me, btw. When writing movie titles, is it grammatically correct to capitalise "a" and "and"? I just find it too much, so I tend not to.

What do you guys think? I'm not really sure, despite it being vastly irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

It's just a grammar itch I'd like to scratch.

Generally in titles, the "A" in "a" and "and" is not capitalised, unless it's the first word of the title (and "and" is not usually the first word of a sentence). Same goes for a few other words, like "the" and "of".

                        Think about it:

                        The Wind And The Lion
                        The Wolf Of Wall Street
                        The Jewel Of The Nile

I still to this day love J&SBSB.

So many stupid jokes and ridiculous cameos (hey there Mark Hamill) that it is impossible not to at least chuckle.

I've seen it too many times to count. I know practically the whole script.

I am snooch to the mutha-flippin' nooch for this!!

I love all the Jay and Silent Bob movies. My type of schtick I guess. I'm looking forward to this absolutely.
