        Horror hounds, metallers, cinephiles, Cage fans ... you need to see Mandy. I knew nothing about it other than a mate highly recommended it. That's the best way to go in. You might love it. You might hate it. But you have to see it. I thought it was class ... I've seen nothing like it, and that doesn't happen so much these days. It's like a piece of heavy metal fantasy artwork come to life.

                LeBron James production company has apparently started to pursue making a Friday the 13th revamp, a project that Blumhouse is also keen to take on. Whilst I'm sure he's keen I doubt there's anything concrete as the rights have once again slipped into contention with an appeal against the other weeks decision having already been lodged meaning no film is coming along any time soon.

                              Universal Studios have officially abandoned their plans for a Dark Cinematic Universe following the failure of the The Mummy reboot. However, they plan to continue their monster reboots but without any connections to each other and with a stripped back standalone focus. The first up is the new incarnation of The Invisible Man. Johnny Depp was previously attached but has now dropped out of the project, director Leigh Whannell (Insidious, Saw, Upgrade) has signed on to direct the film which Blumhouse will work on with Universal.

                              Screen Gems’ remake of the cult supernatural “Grudge” franchise has been delayed by over six months. Originally set for a June 21st release, it will now hit January 3rd next year.
