The Absolute Genius of CAPCOM System 32 Home Computing

Even greater but not Platinum was this way better, way back then was it?

    To this...

What are some of your absolute favourite Capcom, US Gold and 16 bit Computing Compilation Box Art and Titles from any computer publisher Imageworks, Core Design, The Hit Sqaud, Ocean?

A thread for the love of 16 bit Computing from Atari ST to STE to Falcon, Amiga 500 600 1200 to Acorn Archimedes and beyond...

Celebrate the British History of the Games Industry! Can the 32 Bit Handheld and 1024 Bit Raspberry Pi return us to our yesteryear glory days and create a second re-enlightenment of the the games industry to days of futures past?

I am still fascinated by the whole battery encryption thing on CPS boards. The idea of a video game with a shelf life makes me chuckle.

The PSP compilations are my personal faves.

In all fairness, Capcom weren't the only ones doing that kind of thing with their coin-op boards at the time. Suicide batteries (that were irreplaceable in PCBs) were quite common IIRC.

I guess some people have fond memories of all the 8 and 16-bit arcade ports from US Gold, but I really disliked how the company weren't dedicated to creating convincing Amiga ports. Instead, you got lots of weak ports that didn't use the Amiga hardware very well. OutRun was horrific, ports like Strider were bland, and Final Fight ended up feeling pretty poor.

                      Ahhh the memories.
