The 360 era was great for demos, you'd get real pre-release demos too, The Lost Planet demo that dropped during E3 made me really want the full game as it was amazing like playing star ship troopers the game with massive enemy's and really meaty combat. The Dead rising demo was loads of fun too just messing about in that first area killing zombies and messing with all the different weapons. I enjoyed the demo more than the final game as it was full of far to much escort missions and the time constraints really didn't sit well with me just wanting to play a zombie sandbox and explore and find even more crazy weapons.
It's why i still rate the arcade game they did Dead Rising case zero, for 400 points it cost around a fiver and it captured that feeling of the first demo perfectly, a small area with interesting weapons and secrets to find as well as a small bit of story.
