        I envy that you can hear such things at all

        My gaming talk is almost all online.

          Wow, if you said that to me I'd be puzzled. Always computer and videogames for me or CVG for short.

              As I've grown older, my many previous gaming irks (sudden difficulty spikes, too cutesy / too edgy visuals, fetch quests and escort missions) have all but subsided. Mainly this is because I have made peace with the fact that not all games are for me and have become pretty good at seeking out the ones that are.

              So right now, I actually only have two remaining irks;
              1) things that artificially pad out a game's length without adding anything of value;
              2) people criticising a game for being short.

              Give me a full-blooded and focused experience over a drawn-out and limp slog any day of the week, even if it only lasts a few hours. After all, these days I only have a few hours to spare anyway.

                Blizzard over the Warcraft3 reforged. Was going to get this as i never played it back in the day, however they can suck a tiny d**k if they think they will get a penny out of me after how they treated the original client and basically wiping 20 years of peoples custom maps. Absolutely disgusting way to treat such a long standing loyal fan base.

                And their non-pology? Just outrageous.

                  Apparently they've got a clause in the EULA which states that anything users make in the custom maps stuff belongs wholesale to Blizzard. They're not chancing someone making a new MOBA craze.

                    This point is understandable, how much have valve made from dota? Billions? I get that. However they could of just made the clause retroactive and left peoples work there. Unless the whole dota thing was the entire issue with even this point? Better to just start again clean under the new rules?

                    Anyway that point aside, the whole thing just looks like crap the tea boy made in their break.

                      Season passes, Dragonball fighter Z season pass 3 was 19.99 ....which on the face of it sounds not to bad but for only six characters.....full game cost me about 40 at the time (think it was a sale) .....so half the price of the full game for less than a quarter of the content

                        one punch man a hero nobody knows ....basically the same template for arena fighters that Bandai namco have used repeated again.....my god it feels so similar to the others and with the jank many of them have to

                          Irk here but its more my mentality rather than the game but part of it will be due to the game.

                          Final fantasy VII remake....i want to to try it but i have this thing where me know its only part of the story so having to wait for more would be something i would not want but there is worries about waiting.

                          1.How many parts will it be ?

                          2.Will they even get made ? (as i reckon sales will be well...but will it be enough)

                          3. What formats will the next parts be as if its a long wait i cannot imagine it will be a ps4 game.

                          4. Will it keep the consistency and progress with each parts or will they change things up quite a bit like with Mass effect series

                            It's a project that seems all but set to be defined by PS5 rather than PS4 so I've felt zero inclination to try it. Square are so slow at turnover as well that I don't doubt that the end of the episodes or at least the back end won't hit till the end of next-gen either. It's impossible to imagine they won't tweak each part either in reaction to feedback to the previous release so it'll probably be somewhat inconsistent over each part too in the end rather than feeling like it could all be put together as one single game.

                              I just feel they'll either (a) never finish it or (b) finish it, but only by making the absolute central spine of the story. Neither of these are good outcomes IMO.

                                Region locking.

                                Got some Japanese 360 games I want to play, but they are region locked and not backwards compatible on an Xbox One.

                                So now I have to buy a Japanese 360. Where can I pick one up these days?
