Got one of these too. Pretty decent overall but mine had incorrect left and right audio! i didn't notice until too late!

Just need to switch the lines in pin 1 and 5 then.

Yeah I did have a look.

Is it possible to just remove the pins or would I need to soulder? I found the pins resistant and didnt want to break them.

I think they're removable, but as you say, quite tough to do.
