    It's the company who made the TV series who are the ones saying they are making a film of it. They seem to of been slowly dying on their ass since the 90s. I can't see it being a big budget affair

        Actor Glen Powell is currently helping to work on the script for this now long gestating big screen revival. The film is said to be a subversive take on the original set up with Captain Planet now being a Hancockesque has been who now needs the kids more than they need him.
