Ghost in the Shell is rather lovely in 4K.

Some really nice fine detail, decent grain, nice colour.

The CG is obviously old now but doesn't look *too* bad.

    It's still a remarkable film.

I know I'm supposed to show in this thread but I'll spare you the lame Pokémon pics and just describe what I've bought recently.

I picked up the first two Pokémon movies on R1 DVD recently, and also the first release of the R1 Indigo League series (first 79 episodes). I've been watching these on my PlayStation 2 paired to my CRT with an RGB cable. There's a brilliant DVD player softmod that can be installed to bypass the green screen without a modchip and also bypass region checking. If anyone is interested. Now to sort myself out with a PS2 DVD remote.

In light of these.....transgressions, you have left me with no alternative, but to dispatch the Dodd riders of Dodda Fam, their speed, agility and prowess on their Raleigh Budgies is known and feared across the land.

Chungking Express is such a wonderful film and gorgeous to look at! Takeshi Kaneshiro and Tony Leung Chiu-Wai are brilliant in it!

It was £35 in CEX ... couple of cheeky trades.

A Wong Kar Wai box set from Criterion has been rumoured for a while ... never a guarantee it'll come out in the UK though.

That's a really decent price. And of course with CEX you can trade. Nice

Neil's collection's got more steel than a foundry

EDIT: Hang on, didn't you already buy GITS on UHD the other week? I'm guessing you preferred the Best Buy version?

                                Do love a Steelbook

                                Yes I did

I always loved both versions & decided at release I was going to get both versions.
