I've got an old style one what price were you thinking?

Are you sure it's scratching them? Sometimes they just scuff them, leaving a sort of greasy streak. Not that that isn't irritating, and time consuming to resolve, but at least the discs would be usable after a clean.

Definitely scoring...leaving a solid thick scratch around the permimeter of the disc :-(
