Different Top 10 this time, Sony has revealed what the Top 10 most platinumed games are. Though not the hardest on the system, they're also not all the kiddy easy ones that everyone always expects:

-First year US sales stand at 4.5 million compared to NDS's 2.3m

It's mostly impressive due to most of that being done in the last few months. If it sold that strong int he entire 12 months, christ knows how much it'd be on by now

Headline of Vita Sales Slump Continues. Handheld was being outsold 7:1 by 3DS and NO vita games were in top 20, 5 PSP games were in there.

These figures for Vita are starting to fall well below what the 3DS was at when on its slump. Sony need to at least announce something appealing for it

How many of those are the pap that's on the eStore though? There's some truly awful games on there.

Course they will include the pap, they always do
I would say there's about 70-80 retail boxed product and maybe 30-40 digital only titles, just skim reading what's been released and titles that are un-released outside of Japan.
Is there anything due on Vita in next few months that will perk up sales in Japan?

there's that web stream tomorrow with new games being announced for vita which suposedly include vita versions of monster hunter 3, final fantasy type 0 and a few others bits and pieces that'll no doubt give vita a nice boost.
