Famitsu when I remember to, although you have to trawl through endless Miku/AKB48/nonsense to find anything interesting.
I get Nintendo Japan release dates from their official site which is WAY more organised and easier to navigate than any other region.

Siliconera is good for Japanese gaming news. Magic box seems to have become a Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest and Monster Hunter site in recent years.

They seemed to be so self-loathing, or at least loathing of their own audience. They seemed to have the attitude that anyone with more than a passing interest in Japanese pop culture had to be a creepy weirdo. The same goes for The Magic Box. They were a prime source for Japanese news, but it was almost like you weren't allowed to actually care.
