I was on the hunt for the pce version but when this popped up I had to get it, one of the last games I originally owned for the sfc before selling up and moving onto the psone back in the day...

Haha, me too. Played it on my Pal SNES in the days before I was aware of borders and the 50Hz speed hobble. Sweet ignorance, those were the days

I had the PAL version at launch at still loved it, borders and robots Be damned. Busting that L+R pose as the bomber comes in during the first stage was pretty much the most badass thing ever.

I thought I was the only one to do that!

Well then, that's this mystery solved. Thanks Sherlock...

Yoshi's Island, Mario Kart, Mother 2 and Perfect Dark are the cart-based highlights, with Brave Saga and Macross: Digital Mission on PS1.

I preferred the robots when I was a kid. Shame they've been ignored over time.

What an epic start to a new thread! Some lovely US SNES goodies in there. Super Castlevania that mint is rare. Loving the Pocky and Rocky too, what an ace game.

Fami nice Kunio Kun title also, which one is it?

I wonder if the amazing music on Contra was level 3 Colin. I remember that being my favourite.

It's a port of Bikkuri Nekketsu Shin Kiroku!, AKA Crash & the Boys Street Challenge.

My fave Contra music was always the ending.
